The community of Schlanders includes the villages
Kortsch, Göflan, Vetzan and Nödersberg.
Schlanders lies in the middle of the most beautiful
fruit gardens in Vinschgau with its flowers in spring.
On both sides of the village there are mountains,
dark woods, green meadows, wine yards and chestnut
groves.
At Schlanders with its sunny and dry climate you can
start for your walking tours the whole year and even
climb high mountains. It`s a walking and climbing
eldorado for everyone.
Also friends of culture have their choice. Schlanders
has the highest church tower of Tyrol (97 m).
In the middle of Schlanders you can walk and discover
always something new, without traffic. You can go
shopping or enter one of many new and traditional
restaurants and bars.
You can also visit a mill or a farm where you live
in the past. In the evenings there are concerts, historical
guides, info- meetings, sport shooting, garden and
night parties and many other things.
Also feetime and sport facilities are at your disposal.
Holiday
region Laas. Laas with the villages Eyrs, Tschengls, Alitz
and Tanas lies on an altitude of 868 m in the middle
of the Vinschgau and is famous for its marble.
The village offers a lot of walking and climbing tours
( f. e. Laaser Spitze, altitude 3305 m ).
There are two tennis courts and long cycling paths
connecting several villlages. You can also paraglide.
Those who want to forget stress find a contemplation
path at Tanas with its sculptures to reflect and recreate.
