Typewriter Museum 'Peter Mitterhofer'.
The evolution of the typewriter is among the most
interesting chapters of the history of technology.
Without this means of technical assistance, our economic,
cultural, and private life as we know it would be
unimaginable. The collection of the Typewriter Museum
includes over 900 objects from 1864 to 1980, of which
around 300 are on display. Particular attention is
paid to the inventor of the typewriter, Peter Mitterhofer
(1822-1893) from Partschins (Parcines), to whom the
community of Partschins dedicated this museum in 1997.
