Pharmacy Museum of Bressanone.
This small museum was opened in 2002 in the building
of the Municipal Pharmacy. In its four rooms with
a total floor space of 150 sq. m. (1,600 sq. ft.),
it blends modern architecture, art and the history
of medicines, representing a treasure trove of the
history of pharmacy for experts and lay people alike.
The devices, medicines, containers, and packaging
on display come from daily pharmacy use and describe
the progress and changes for the pharmacy customer
through examples in their original condition. Their
continuity and completeness provide a nearly unbroken
picture of more than 400 years of pharmaceutical history.
