Holiday region Martell valley.
One of the most original valleys of the Vinschgau is the Martell vally. It extends from an altitude near the ruin of Obermontani of 950 m to the glaciers of the Cevedale of 3700 m. Manifold are the plants: green meadows, dark woods, strawberry gardens on 1700 m, vegetable fields and at last the icy peaks of the Ortler group. Original are the cultural landscape and the old typical farm houses. here extends also the Stilfserjoch National Park with chamoises, deers, alpine roses and silver thistles.

There are walking and climbing paths, too and sport activities can be practiced. Also in the winter you can practise sport in the silence and relaxed atmosphere of the valley. There is a long distance run, biathlon, toboggan slide also at night, ski jumping (25 m), skating, winter walking and ski walking tours on the Cevedale. Here is not much traffic, here you can relax in a calm atmosphere.
