Holiday
region Mals.
Mals (1050 m) the sunny main village of the Obervinschgau
is a holiday station for the whole family, because
of its dry and mild climate all over the year. At
Mals you can have natural events and you find cultural
monuments of the karoling and romanic time.
At Watles, above Prämajur, you can ski in winter
and walk in summer. Fascinating is the view over the
Vinschgau, on the glaciers of Ötztaler and Stubaier
alps, on Ortler and Sesvenna. You can take the chairlift
up to the sunny mountains. There are well marked paths
and exiting targets. But also on the other side of
Mals, at Matsch and Planeil you have the possibility
to climb on high mountains. The nature is originaland
the villages are real tyrolian.

At Schluderns I can... walk on plane, sunny irrigation-
canal- paths on both sides of the valley, across biotops
where birds are singing, or you can climb to the peaks
of the Ortler group and to the Ötztaler alps,
or visit the art jewels and the old mythical castles.
Flowers in spring and in summer and various colors
in autumn.

The small south tyrolian town with its own charakter.
Glurns with its 850 inhabitants is the smallest town
of Tyrol and Italy.
Glurns is situated in an interesting cultural landscape
of the Alps. In Vinschgau isn`t only little rain,
but here are also important artistic monuments. Here
you find a cultural combination from north and south
and even from west (Graubünden).
In Glurns with its circular walls, its arcades, its
traditional pubs you may feel that time has stood
still.
It became a town between 1291 and 1294. Its heyday
had Glurns in the 14th and 15th centuries.
Worth seeing are: the rest of the village of the 12th
century, the arcades of the 13th century, the fortification
and the citicenhouses of the 16th century and renaissance
circular walls.
