Val
di FassaPozza di Fassa.
Ranging from relaxing walks to demanding climbing
tours, Pozza di Fassa is always worth a visit!
Dominated by the magnificent Cima Undici and Cima
Dodici peaks, where the Rio S. Nicolò merges
with the Avisio river, it is a typical Dolomite location
where mountaineering boasts legendary traditions of
men and events. From here you can reach the fascinating
geological and mineralogical areas in the Monzoni
range, the most classic reference of phenomena dated
tens of millions years.
Tita Piaz, one of the greatest mountaineers of all
times, better known as the "Devil of the Dolomites"
was born in Pera, a hamlet of Pozza.
