This area is situated on the Brentonico plateau on the eastern side of Mount Baldo. It is a ski area and with San Valentino it has 15 ski lifts and 40 km of down-hill slopes partially equipped with snow-making facilities. This ski area was created in 1965 and hosted important international sports events. It is worth naming the two stages of the Giro d´Italia (1969-1970) won by Dancelli and Merckx and the summer training camps of the famous football club Internazionale in 1970 and 1982. Polsa is set among green beechwoods and alpine pastures and thanks to its accommodation and sporting facilities it is a renown center for activity holidays.
