Lake Garda is particularly charming. The color blue of the water is more intense, the sunlight more vivid and the air is oxygenated by the mountains and purified by the Lake Garda breeze which blows and fills the colored sails of the windsurfs. Nearby there stands the Rocca built in 1124 to defend the lake, today seat of the Civic Museum and of the Picture Gallery. Baroque buildings such as the church of the Inviolata and the one dedicated to S. M. Assunta are of great interest.
