Alta
ValsuganaCaldonazzo.
The small village, that has given its name to the
lake, stretches over a large plain. The checkered
patchwork of fields, green meadows and orchards and
the ribbons of roads radiating from the picturesque
lake center form a palette of colors. The blue lake
and the green fir-woods and orchards, with the rock
walls of the distant peaks, give a soft and diffusive
light.
Caldonazzo is a pleasant place for a summer holiday.
It is the seat of the Court of the Trapp Counts, dating
back to the 16th century.
