Milk.
Where there are mountains, there are cows. And where
there are cows, there is milk. Cows in South Tyrol
are especially happy cows: In summer they roam freely
on the alpine meadows where they feed on fresh grass
and breathe crisp mountain air. In winter they are
fed with hay from these meadows. South Tyrol has
about 12.000 small farms. Try the different cheeses,
yoghurt products and of course a good glass of milk.
You will taste the difference!
The fresh milk is transported daily to the dairies
where it is turned into traditional cheeses, yoghurts
and other wonderful dairy products. The controls
are very strict so the “South Tyrol”
brand is a guarantee for quality. Milk products
from South Tyrol are not genetically manipulated.
