Roger to the diocese of Messina.
The Chiesa Madre contains some interesting works
such as St Nicolo’ Politi, by Filippo Tancredi,
and the silver urn of the saint, the work of Paolo
Guarna (1581). In the Chiesa di San Pantaleone is
a canvas, St Antonio Abate, signed and dated by
Tancredi (1715). Part of a square tower of the Turio
Castle, possibly 11th c., stilI stands.
